Gather in Gratitude

WISCONSIN LAKEHOUSE MINI-RETREAT

Join us for a soulful lakeside retreat just outside the Wisconsin Dells — a long weekend created especially for Midwestern women who give so much and deserve time to slow down, reconnect, and refill their own cup.

We’ll gather in a beautiful lakefront home surrounded by peaceful nature, with cozy spaces to relax, a sauna and hot tub to unwind, and a firepit where conversations and laughter can linger into the evening.

Throughout the weekend we’ll share gentle yoga, meditation, breathwork, live music, and meaningful workshops centered around reflection, gratitude, and renewal. Together we’ll honor the experiences that shaped the past year, release what we’re ready to let go of, and create space for what we want to welcome next.

It’s a weekend to pause, breathe, and remember the beauty of gathering together in gratitude.

Thursday November 19

ARRIVAL & OPENING

Guests arrive Thursday afternoon and settle into our beautiful lakeside retreat home — a spacious place designed for both connection and quiet moments to yourself.

Take time to explore the house, wander down to the lake, or curl up with a cup of tea and a blanket.

In the evening we gather for a warm welcome dinner prepared by Lea, sharing our first meal together around the table.

After dinner we begin easing into retreat mode with a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra Sound Healing Dream Session — a gentle practice designed to guide you into a dreamlike state where the body fully rests and the soul can quietly listen. During this experience, soft sounds from singing bowls, rain sticks, and chimes will weave through the session, creating a calming soundscape that helps the nervous system slow down and the mind drift into deep relaxation.

It’s the perfect way to settle into the rhythm of the retreat and allow the outside world to fade away for a while. From there the evening unfolds naturally — music playing softly, conversation flowing, maybe a soak in the hot tub or a quiet moment by the fire. No rush. No schedule to chase. Just the beginning of a beautiful reset.

Friday November 20

GRATITUDE & RESTORATION

Friday morning begins slowly with yoga, meditation, and breathwork guided by Sara, accompanied by the beautiful live music of Joie. Afterward we gather for a nourishing breakfast while the lake and forest begin to wake up.

Later in the morning Sara leads a reflective workshop centered around gratitude and honoring the experiences that shaped the past year. With her years of guiding women through healing and wellness practices, Sara creates a space that is both grounding and uplifting.

The afternoon is intentionally spacious so you can enjoy the retreat however you need most.

You might:
• journal quietly by the lake or curl up with a book
• relax in the sauna or hot tub
• or join an optional group hike at nearby Rocky Arbor State Park.

Later in the day Becky offers a Reiki healing circle, while Joie fills the space with gentle music for a soft chakra sound experience.

In the evening we celebrate some of Wisconsin’s best traditions with a local cheese and wine tasting featuring women makers, followed by a nourishing dinner together.  As night falls we gather around the firepit where Joie leads a soulful campfire jam session under the stars — the kind of simple, magical moment that always becomes a highlight of the weekend.

Saturday November 21

RELEASE & CELEBRATION

Saturday morning begins again with yoga, meditation, and breathwork with Sara, accompanied by Joie’s live music.

After breakfast, Sara guides a second workshop focused on release and renewal — letting go of what we don’t want to carry into the next season and creating space for new intentions.

The afternoon remains beautifully open so you can rest, journal, take a walk by the lake, enjoy the sauna or hot tub, or simply soak in the peaceful setting.

Later Becky leads a fascinating Dreamwork session, exploring how our dreams can reveal insight, healing, and clarity.

In the evening we head out for a true Midwest experience — dinner at a classic Wisconsin supper club. Expect cheese curds, old fashioneds, pull-tabs, and maybe even nostalgic grasshopper cocktail.

After dinner we return to the lake house for one final cozy evening together — more music from Joie, laughter around the fire, and the kind of conversations that only seem to happen when women step away from their busy lives for a few days.

Sunday November 22

INTEGRATION & FAREWELL

Our final morning begins with a gentle grounding yoga practice to help integrate the experiences of the weekend.

We gather afterward for a closing circle to share reflections, gratitude, and the intentions we’re bringing back home with us.

After one last breakfast together, the retreat comes to a close with warm hugs, new friendships, and a deep sense of calm as everyone heads home feeling rested, refreshed, and reconnected to themselves.

This retreat blends wellness, connection, nature, and a little bit of classic Wisconsin fun — creating the perfect balance of relaxation, reflection, laughter, and friendship.

You’ll leave feeling lighter, calmer, and deeply refreshed. Sometimes the best thing we can do for ourselves is step away for a few days… and come back home renewed.

Please note, the itinerary is subject to change.

Your retreat will be hosted by Lea Droessler, of Sunny & Turquoise Travel, known for creating experiences that bring women together in meaningful and inspiring ways. Lea’s retreats blend beautiful destinations, thoughtful details, and genuine connection to create spaces where women can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with themselves.

Lea will share her talents in the kitchen during this retreat as well, preparing nourishing meals for all and taking in consideration any special dietary needs.

More about Lea Here.

Sara DiBlasio.jpg

Joining Lea for this special weekend is Sara DiBlasio of Boha Retreat, a soulful wellness guide who is traveling all the way from Mexico to share her work with our group. Sara has spent years cultivating practices that help women reconnect with their inner wisdom through yoga, meditation, breathwork, and reflective self-work.

Her presence brings a grounding and nurturing energy to the retreat. Throughout the weekend she will guide yoga sessions, meditation, breathwork, and workshops focused on gratitude, reflection, and release. Having Sara with us for the entire retreat allows for a deeply immersive experience where her wisdom and calming presence gently weave throughout the entire weekend.

Also joining us is Becky Uthe, who will share her gifts through both Reiki healing sessions and a thoughtful Dreamwork experience during the retreat.

During her Reiki sessions, Becky creates a calm, nurturing space where participants can simply rest and receive — often leaving feeling lighter, more grounded, and deeply supported.

Becky will also guide us through a Dreamwork experience, exploring the wisdom that can arise from our dreams and subconscious mind. Through reflection and gentle guidance, this session invites participants to notice patterns, messages, and symbols that may offer emotional clarity, intuitive insight, and a deeper connection to their inner voice.

Her work beautifully complements the reflective nature of the retreat, offering another pathway for relaxation, self-discovery, and meaningful inner connection.

Where coffee house meets dive bar… that’s where you’ll find Joie Wails. With big vocals and an even bigger heart, Joie brings a warm, soulful energy to every room she plays. Blending rock, pop, country, and singer-songwriter favorites, her music creates the kind of atmosphere where people naturally relax, sing along, and feel at home.

Throughout the retreat, Joie’s live music will accompany our yoga sessions and meditation practices, adding a beautiful layer of presence and emotion to the experience. In the evenings, she’ll lead laid-back campfire jam sessions where music, laughter, and connection unfold naturally under the stars.

Her music brings a sense of warmth and authenticity to the weekend — the kind that turns simple moments into lasting memories.
