What could be better? ​This trip was created to combine some of our favorite things into one well-balanced experience: Get into nature, move your body, raise your vibration and refill your cup. It’s a perfect time to look ahead to the new year to build a solid foundation for your health goals while enjoying Sonoma wines and local fare. So grab a friend or join us solo, come open-minded and ready for fun!

Where the heck is Petaluma? It’s a quick hour drive north of San Francisco and only 35 minutes from HWY 1 and the Pacific coast. Petaluma sits within picturesque hillsides of wine country/Sonoma County. The bright fall foilage in Sonoma County is stunning and the best time to get outside in it.
Petaluma is a charming farming community with strong roots to growing quality food and wine. The downtown is booming with locally owned boutiques and eateries. It’s the coolest community and Lea is so excited to introduce you to her hometown!

Prior to your arrival, Jessica will correspond with you to discuss where you are on your fitness journey and your upcoming goals for 2024. Based on that information, she will suggest an action plan that you can get started on. We will have time every morning for hiking, running, walking, yoga and meditation. Jessica will guide you during your stay in CA and will even be available after you're home and settling back into your daily routine.
This trip experience will allow you to create connections with like-minded women and create a springboard for improvements in your fitness and wellness journey.

Learn about nutrition to support your health with a plant-based food session. We will share kitchen tools, recipes, and resources to help you design your daily menu and build confidence in the kitchen.
Our afternoons and evenings will be spent enjoying the ocean, redwoods, and vineyards—enjoying the food, wine, and beauty of Sonoma County! With Lea's intense love of good food and hospitality you will be wowed with the local favorites she will share with you.

Day 1: Arrival into SFO. Pitstop at the Golden Gate bridge for a walk and photo. Next up, Sausalito for a bayside dinner. Arrive at the adorable Metro Hotel, downtown Petaluma.
​
Day 2: Morning walk/hike/run at a beautiful park of rolling hills followed by breakfast and a fitness session discussing overcoming roadblocks with a healthy routine. Freetime for lunch and shopping in Petaluma at the many local eateries and boutiques. Afternoon wine tasting at one of Lea’s favorite local wineries followed by dinner at Easy Rider.

Day 3: Morning fitness and food workshop session guided by Lea and Jess. Next, We are headed to the ocean! We’ll visit Bodega Bay for coastal exploration with time to dip your toes in the water. Breathe deep and sink into vacation mode with the sound of ocean waves. Lea will pack a picnic and wine to enjoy in the sunshine. Catch the sunset with dinner at Lea’s favorite local fishery with plenty of healthful and vegan options available.

Day 4: Morning walk/hike/running time. Late morning we will head to redwood grove for some tree time meditation, restorative yoga, and a picnic lunch. Our afternoon will have freetime for shopping in the funky town of Sebastopol. Next up, wine tasting at the coolest wine bar in town! Dinner at the Barlow, an industrial chic outdoor market.

Day 5: Farewell Breakfast and flights home.

Please wait to book your flight until emailed. Typically 2 months prior to retreat.
Arrange flight into San Francisco International Airport (SFO) the morning of Nov 1. Arrival prior to 1pm. We will email when to book flights.
Lea will coordinate one early afternoon airport pickup shuttle to Petaluma and one return shuttle Nov 5th to SFO. There is an easy airport shuttle bus if your flight times do not coordinate with Lea’s shuttle.

Jess is passionate about experiencing life and loving all her people to the fullest. She prioritizes travel, connection, laughter, and creating memories together. She a yogi, yoga teacher, competitive runner, and loves plant based food and the lifestyle that goes along with it.
Jess co-owns Crown Running in Dubuque, IA, a run coaching business where she coaches all levels of runners to get the best out of themselves.
