Day 1 - September 9
WELCOME TO VENICE!

 

Welcome to Italy! Arrive in magical Venice and settle into your hotel before meeting your fellow travelers for the first time. We’ll kick off our adventure with a celebratory wine toast, followed by a beautiful welcome dinner together. Tonight is all about new friendships, incredible Italian food, and raising a glass to the adventure ahead.

Day 2 - September 10

THE MAGIC OF VENICE


Today we experience Venice from both its winding streets and famous canals. We’ll begin with a private guided walking tour through the heart of the city before climbing aboard a traditional gondola ride for one of those quintessential Venice moments.

 

After lunch together, we’ll travel by private water taxi to the colorful island of Murano for a fascinating glass-blowing demonstration. The evening is yours to wander, find a cozy restaurant, sip an Aperol Spritz beside a canal, or simply soak up your final night in Venice.

Day 3 - September 11

INTO THE DOLOMITES

 

Today we leave Venice behind and head into the mountains! Our road trip into the Dolomites will be part of the adventure, with a lunch stop in the beautiful alpine town of Alleghe before continuing toward dramatic Passo Sella. Here, we’ll take one of the Dolomites’ unique mountain lifts high into the peaks for our first up-close views of this incredible landscape.

 

By late afternoon, we’ll arrive in Val Gardena, settle into our mountain home, and celebrate our arrival with wine, local cheeses, and spectacular alpine scenery.

Mileage: 1-2 | 100-400 ft | Easy

Day 4 - September 12
HIKING THE ICONIC SECADA RIDGE

 

This is the Dolomites you’ve seen in photographs! We’ll ride into the mountains and spend the day hiking approximately 5 miles through the spectacular Seceda area, surrounded by jagged peaks, green alpine meadows, and traditional mountain huts. Along the way, we’ll have opportunities to stop for local treats—including the famous Kaiserschmarrn—before enjoying lunch at a rifugio tucked into the mountains. After some time to relax and recharge at the hotel, we’ll come back together for a beautiful evening of good food, wine, laughter, and dinner together.

Day 5 - September 13

E-BIKING ACROSS ALPI DI SUISI

 

Trade your hiking boots for an e-bike today as we head to Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s largest high-altitude alpine meadow. We’ll take our e-bikes up the mountain and cruise along scenic alpine roads surrounded by wildflower meadows, grazing cows, mountain huts, and some of the most dramatic peaks in the Dolomites. We’ll stop for lunch at a mountain rifugio and have time for a short afternoon hike before returning to Val Gardena.

 

The rest of the day is yours to relax, recharge, or have an adventure of your own! Take a nap, wander through town, enjoy the hotel, head out exploring, or simply find a beautiful spot to soak up the mountain views. Tonight is yours too—choose a dinner spot that catches your eye, linger over a glass of wine, and enjoy the freedom to make the evening completely your own.

Day 6 - September 14

ACROSS THE DOLOMITES TO CORTINA

Another beautiful road-trip day takes us deeper into the Dolomites as we leave Val Gardena and make our way toward Cortina d’Ampezzo. We’ll break up the journey with a scenic lift ride and moderate mountain hike before spending time exploring Cortina, one of Italy’s most famous alpine towns.

 

Enjoy a delightful cooking class and lunch, wander the pedestrian streets, and take in the mountain atmosphere before we continue to peaceful Lago di Misurina, where we’ll settle in for the night surrounded by spectacular scenery.

Hiking Mileage: 2-4 | 500-1000 ft elevation gain | Moderate

Day 7 - September 15

TRE CIME DI LAVAREDO

Today is our big hiking day and one of the signature experiences of the entire trip. We’ll get an early start for the iconic Tre Cime di Lavaredo hike, an approximately 8-mile moderate alpine loop beneath three of the most recognizable peaks in the Dolomites. Expect dramatic ridgelines, enormous limestone towers, sweeping mountain views, and plenty of photo stops along the way. We’ll pause for lunch at a mountain rifugio before completing our loop and heading back to the hotel. After a big day on the trail, the rest of the afternoon and evening are completely yours. Put your feet up, relax, and head out for dinner whenever and wherever you’d like.

Day 8- September 16

CORTINA & MOUNTAIN VIEWS

After yesterday’s big adventure, today is all about slowing down and soaking in the beauty of the Dolomites. We’ll make our way into Cortina d’Ampezzo, where we’ll ride the Faloria cable car high above town for sweeping views across the surrounding peaks—without having to earn them with another big hike! At the top, settle in with a coffee or aperitivo and simply enjoy being surrounded by the mountains.

Back in Cortina, you’ll have time to wander, browse the shops, explore at your own pace, and find the perfect little spot for lunch. Later, we’ll hit the road for another spectacular drive through the Dolomites, making our way to Corvara, our final alpine home. Once we’re settled in, we’ll come back together for a cozy evening and dinner as a group.

Day 9- September 17

LAGAZUOI, CINQUE TORRI, & A FINAL TOAST

We’re saving one more spectacular mountain day for the grand finale of our Dolomites adventure! We’ll ride the cable car up to Lagazuoi, where incredible panoramic views await, followed by an easy high-altitude walk surrounded by some of the most dramatic peaks in the Dolomites. From there, we’ll continue to the iconic Cinque Torri, hiking approximately 2–3 miles among its towering rock formations before settling in for lunch at a cozy mountain rifugio.


The afternoon is yours to slow down and savor these last hours in the mountains—relax at the spa, wander through town, do a little shopping, pack, or simply find a beautiful spot and take it all in one last time.


Tonight, we’ll dress up a little and come together for a special farewell dinner, raising a glass to the miles we’ve hiked, the adventures we’ve shared, the friendships we’ve made, and an unforgettable week together in Italy.

Day 10- September 18

ARRIVEDERCI, ITALY

One last breakfast in the mountains before we say arrivederci to the Dolomites. We’ll depart Corvara in the morning and travel together back to Venice Marco Polo Airport, taking in those final mountain views along the way.

 

You’ll head home with tired hiking legs, a camera roll full of incredible views, and a whole new group of travel friends.

Once we reach the Dolomites, we’ll settle into cozy mountain accommodations surrounded by incredible alpine scenery, with warm Italian design, natural wood details and comfortable rooms made for resting after a day on the trails. We’re choosing places that balance location, comfort, character and a little bit of magic—the kind of stays you’ll be happy to come home to at the end of each day.

  • 50% Of Remainder Due 6 Months prior to departure date

  • Please "REGISTER NOW" for this trip as a request for your desired rooming options. After review by S&T of  current availability, we will confirm your registration and you will be sent your invoice for deposit and payment schedule.

Why is this trip priced in Euros?

With the ever-changing foreign exchange rate,  it’s easier for us to price our trips in Euros as this is how we pay our vendors. 

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED

Everything has been thoughtfully arranged for a seamless, elevated experience. The following items remain at your personal discretion:
 

  • Flights to and from Venice Airport

  • Airport transfers to and from the accommodations (we will provide information for travelers to take an easy water taxi to Venice upon arrival.)

  • A few meals during free time

  • Any fees for optional excursions during free time

  • Personal spending money for shopping, souvenirs, and other discretionary expenses

  • Host gratuities, optional

  • Travel insurance (highly recommended). We recommend checking out Faye for comprehensive and affordable coverage.

  • Alcoholic beverages beyond the one glass of wine or beer included with dinners

  • Please plan to arrive in Venice by early afternoon on September 9.

  • For your departure, please schedule your departing flights for 1pm or later on September 18.
