Croatia: Dubrovnik & Korčula Island
CHECK BACK FOR 2024 DATES
Do you dream of turquoise ocean water, day in and day out, like I do? It truly is so, so good for our souls! Croatia opened my eyes and soul to the stunning Adriatic Sea. On my first visit, the warm turquoise water instantly sent relaxation through my body, and I felt like I was home. This upcoming travel experience to the beautiful city of Dubrovnik and the stunning Korčula Island is full of old-world history, calming beach time, and genuine connection. Croatia’s rugged terrain has produced some of the tastiest olives and oldest grapevines in the world, just to give you a taste for what’s in store…
Our trip will start with two nights in the stunning city of Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we will walk the old town walls that date back to the 13th century. A local guide will acquaint us with authentic Croatian food and wine specialties. You will have time to roam the cobblestone streets to shop, explore, and people-watch.
Dubrovnik’s charms and history make it a must-see for any visitor to Croatia. But here comes my favorite part…boarding the ferry to Korčula Island. Korčula holds a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to share it with you. Korčula island (and especially our off-the-grid, remote accommodation) is small, quaint, and quiet. This is the kind of travel experience many of us dream of but few of us can find on our own.
On Korčula Island we will embrace slow mornings, long walks, and quiet contemplation.
Each day will include some new adventure but also time for a good book and floating in the sea. Our home is remote, tucked away in a small village and surrounded by pine forests. Our house is only steps away from a small, crystalline bay, perfect for a quiet soak or a raucous evening with wine and your new BFFs.
You will go to sleep and rise to the sounds of the waves. Mornings will start slowly with meditation, energy work, and a nourishing breakfast. We will explore Korčula and the nearby islands via boat with time to snorkel and play in the water. Korčula is the only place in the world that grows the delicious GRK grape, and we will have a chance to tour and taste while e-biking vineyards, a knowledgeable guide in tow. An afternoon will be spent exploring the medieval town of Korčula itself, and an evening dining along her historic walls. The island is full of hidden beaches, natural beauty, and fun dining experiences. Relax because we are on island time.
My dream is for like-minded women to meet me in Dubrovnik to explore a new country, create new friendships, have time for self-exploration, and to soak up that turquoise sea.
