ARRIVAL IN ALASKA!

KENAI FJORDS PARK
Today we journey south along a breathtaking scenic drive toward the coastal town of Seward. Along the way we'll stop to take in mountain views and the beauty of Resurrection Bay.
Our highlight today is an unforgettable boat excursion into Kenai Fjords National Park, where towering glaciers meet the sea. Keep your eyes open for whales, sea otters, puffins, seals, and perhaps even orcas as we explore this incredible marine wilderness on a half day cruise.
We'll end the day by enjoying the local harbor town of Seward (known for its local breweries and family-run shops and restaurants). Take some time to relax, reflect, and enjoy the coastal atmosphere.
Overnight: Seward, AK

Day 3 - July 25
SEWARD ADVENTURE DAY
Today is designed for adventure at your own pace.
Choose your experience: either kayaking among dramatic coastal scenery and hiking to Exit Glacier (2.2 mile), or tackling the famous Harding Icefield Trail for those seeking a bigger challenge (8 miles, difficult).
Whether you spend the day on the water or on the trails, you'll experience Alaska's raw beauty up close before gathering together for a relaxed evening. We'll order dinner in that night for a cozy evening after a big day of exploring.
Overnight: Seward

Day 4 - July 26
GIRDWOOD & TALKEETNA
We leave the coast behind and head north through stunning mountain landscapes.
Our first stop is Girdwood, a picturesque alpine town nestled among towering peaks. Explore a scenic local trail, browse shops, or take an optional ride up the Alyeska Tram for incredible views and drinks at the top!
Later, we continue to Talkeetna, a quirky and beloved Alaskan town known for its colorful character, local artists, and incredible views of Denali. We'll check into our cabins and enjoy group dinner out at a local favorite.
Overnight: Talkeetna, AK

Day 5 - July 27
TALKEETNA & DENALI VIEWS
Enjoy a relaxed morning exploring Talkeetna at your own pace. Stroll through Talkeetna Lakes Park, take in the views from the Susitna River Lookout, wander the peaceful riverfront trails, or browse the town's charming shops and cafés.
For those looking for an unforgettable Alaska experience, you can choose to add an incredible flightseeing adventure around Denali, complete with a glacier landing. This optional excursion can be reserved when you register for the trip. If flying isn't your style, enjoy a leisurely morning discovering the shops, cafés, and laid-back charm of Talkeetna.
Later, we'll visit one of Alaska's most beloved traditions as we meet incredible sled dogs, hear their stories, and experience the spirit of mushing firsthand.
This evening is yours to enjoy—discover a cozy local restaurant, wander Talkeetna's historic streets, and soak in the magic of this quirky mountain town.
Overnight: Talkeetna, AK

Day 6 - July 28
SCENIC RAIL JOURNEY TO DENALI
Today you'll experience one of Alaska's most iconic journeys aboard the Alaska Railroad with the GoldStar Dome experience. Relax in first class comfort as you travel through vast wilderness, mountain valleys, and remote landscapes on your way to Denali.
After arriving, we'll explore the Denali area, visit local shops and viewpoints, and settle into our accommodations surrounded by nature. You can relax and head over to the nearby local gem pizzeria for dinner on your own at your own pace and enjoy the Denali scene.
Overnight: Denali, AK

Day 7 - July 29
WILDLIFE DAY IN DENALI
Denali is home to some of the most spectacular wilderness in North America.
Today's experiences include a full day wildlife excursion into the national park with our local trusted guide. We'll make several stops on the sole park road to observe wildlife, do some hikes, and soak in the incredible scenery.
The current expectation is that the entire Denali Park Road and the new Pretty Rocks Bridge will be open for the 2027 season which is so exciting because we'll have the best chance of seeing grizzly bears, moose, linx, caribou, Dall sheep, wolves, and, on a clear day, spectacular views of Denali.
Then we'll take a short drive to 49th State Brewery in Healy to enjoy group dinner and a drink--a must-do when you're in Alaska!
Overnight: Denali, AK

Day 8 - July 30
DENALI FINALE
After our big hike day we'll enjoy a nice stretching and meditation in the morning to begin the day. Afterwards, we'll head into the Denali Canyon area again for an exciting river rafting experience.
We'll have time to stop for lunch at Denali Canyon, the main tourism hub for shopping and dining.
In the afternoon we'll hop on some e-bikes and ride into the park for more amazing wilderness sightseeing.
We'll gather one final time for a special farewell dinner at a top rated restaurant to celebrate our time together. We'll reflect on the memories, friendships, and adventures we've shared throughout the week.
Overnight: Denali, AK

Day 9 - July 31
FAREWELL ALASKA
After breakfast, our retreat comes to an end. As a group we will make our drive back to Fairbanks to say our goodbyes.
(Guests may depart there from Fairbanks or choose to extend their Alaska adventure on their own.
If you'd like to do more hiking in Denali park and stay longer, we can help you arrange accommodations and transport for a trip extension. Another popular option is spending an additional night at Chena Hot Springs outside of Fairbanks, soaking in natural mineral waters and enjoying even more of Alaska's magic.)
Please note, the itinerary is subject to change.
WHERE YOU'LL BE STAYING

Throughout the week, we'll stay in a collection of locally owned inns, mountain lodges, riverside retreats, and wilderness cabins that capture the spirit of Alaska. Rather than staying in one large resort, we'll spend a few nights in each destination, allowing us to truly experience the unique character of the places we visit.
In Anchorage, we'll settle into a charming historic inn with beautiful views and easy access to the city's trails, waterfront, and local restaurants.
In Seward, we'll stay in a charming lodge hotel surrounded by mountains near Kenai Fjords National Park, providing the perfect base for glacier cruises, wildlife encounters, and outdoor adventures.
In Talkeetna, our riverside lodge offers a peaceful retreat just a short walk from town, where colorful local shops, restaurants, and stunning views of Denali create a uniquely Alaskan atmosphere.
For our final nights, we'll immerse ourselves in the wilderness near Denali National Park, staying at a cozy boutique lodge tucked among towering spruce trees and mountain landscapes. Here, nature is truly at your doorstep, creating the perfect setting to reflect on an incredible week of adventure.
All accommodations have been carefully selected for their comfort, character, location, and authentic Alaskan charm. While room styles vary by property, every stay is designed to provide a welcoming place to relax, recharge, and connect with your fellow travelers after each day's adventures.
Accommodations are subject to change due to availability or circumstances beyond our control. Any changes will always reflect a similar or elevated experience.
